The OWC contains two objectives
² create and maintain a positive Dutch image as an attractive studying destination in vast Chinese 2nd tier cities
² stimulate local interests towards studying in the Netherlands
Through the cooperation with national and local partners, Neso China will organize series intense promotion events during a particular period in selected cities/areas. It aims that the Netherlands and its relevance will become hot topics in the local society and will hence spark people’s curiosities and interests towards the Netherlands and the Dutch higher education. It equips people in the 2nd tier cities with knowledge about the Netherlands and the Dutch higher education system. The first edition of the OWC will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan province from March to April in 2010.
